Week 6: 'Knights again to qualify following 0-3 start?
Defending QFL champions silentsound's Silentknights (3-3) seem poised to make an improbable return to the QFL Postseason as they have come back from an 0-3 start for the second consecutive season and have a good chance to receive the help needed.
Earlier, the 'Knights survived a 24-point comeback bid by the Prussian Warriors (1-5) and won on a late 47-yd FG, thus keeping their own hopes alive and eliminating Niners Sparrows.
Now, the Dicey Beasts (2-3) must beat Niners Sparrows (1-3-1) to snatch the second wild card from the 'Knights, however, the Sparrows have built a 21-0 lead in the first quarter.
Elsewhere, frontmodes Kobras (4-1-1) took a 14-3 win over Northern Division champions Deichclimbers (5-1) from what might turn out but a prequel to another encounter of the two teams "next week" in the Divisional Playoffs.
As Southern Division champions Eagle Eyes (4-1) have an 18-7 lead against Niners Sparrows (1-3-1) early in the third quarter, they are likely to move past the 'Climbers to win the #1 seed and then face either the 'Knights or the Beasts in the playoffs.
